Physical Properties of Matter

1. Physical properties of matter are how the matter looks and feels, not things that can change the matter.
2. Luster and hardness
3. Luster is how shiny the object is. Hardness is the ability of the object to be scratched.
4. Luster and hardness are not very alike because you can see luster but you can't see hardness. To find the hardness of an object you have to do a scratch test with your finger or on a glass plate.
